Personality
Many would kill or do anything for a chance at immortality. The chance to live forever. Many years ago Nassir was just like them. This was a wish that he had granted. It was only later that his mind came to grips with the truth of immortality, the curse of infinite loss. He stood idle as all those he loved passed from the world of life. This experience buttered Nassir. At first he was angry and disconnected. then spiteful and aggressive. That was long ago. Now he is truly a ghost of a man. Devoid of true empathy and callous down to his core. He lives only because he can not die. His existence is that of a wandering plague. he moves from place to place finding and destroying the strongest among them. Nassir is interested in only the hunt and engagement. the only thing that brings him the closest thing to joy is the feeling of launching himself into the fray.

Nassir, while being aggressive and utterly cold is still just a man. Because of this he always seeks those who he could identify with. Unfortunately, his social skills have degraded to that of a brash sociopath and have left him nearly unable to express this trait. Unlikable, cold, distant, rude, violent, unpredictable, and alone. less a man than a vicious animal.

Bio
In centuries past and in lands far off war has been as it always was and always will be. Wars always require soldiers. Nassir was one of these men. Talented in the arts of battle and strong enough to dwarf most men. Pole ax in hand he was a devastating foe. His prowess drew the attention of strange and ancient being. It came to him, praising him for his skill and offered to preserve it. How foolish the young can be. He accepted. Immortality. To never die. To be struck down and always rise again. It was all a young warrior could ask for. Until the years passed. Those around him died. They aged and fell to illness or were struck down in the chaos of war. Soon enough the powers that be began to treat Nassir like a demon. They cast him out. The life of a wanderer was his.

Ages passed by him. He remained as an ageless omen of violence. He tried to make friends at first. Trying to be "normal" as much as he could. The old man with the ax. He took wives. Fought battles. Lived whole lives, and still he felt as though he was empty inside. Soon enough he was no longer a man. Just a wandering man with nothing but battle on his mind. The one infinite truth, war is eternal.

One particular year he came across a small gathering of farmers. they lived mostly in peace. they had no training or talent. they were just weak. He found that after only a few years he could tolerate their peace no longer. he strode into home after home and cut them down with his mighty pole ax. In this way he remained. Leaving only a small boy alive, he would feed him the strength he needed to become something great. Years later his investment paid off. He was struck down in a flurry of powerful and strange magic. His chest was pierced and his blood flowed out of him. At that moment a smile came to the old man. He had found a new man to fight. Finally a challenge. After the boy had left and his "dead" body had been dumped in the woods he drew his blood back into him and his flesh to close. Ax in hand he set off. He knew his path would cross the boy's again. he was finally looking forward to something.

Traits
Nassir is powerful and viscous combatant. he holds nothing back and has hundreds of years of practice. His strength is near the peak of human potential and can not fade. His is skilled at the many nuances of both dueling and large scale combat. He has a knack for knowing just when to strike and just when to back away. Not to mention not a shred of fear for losing his life.

Flaws
Put lightly, Nassir is a social idiot. he is really terrible at communicating with just about anyone. Not only that but he is not overly educated. He has never really had friends or true allies in nearly two centuries and doesn't show signs of getting them.

Special Abilities

The Undying: This is the most powerful and main ability that Nassir possesses. It is what has made him into what he is today. Nassir can not die. Nothing truly slays him. However, he has no superhuman defenses. If a blade strikes him it may very well cut off a limb or rend his flesh in twain. He will bleed. He will weaken and he will die. Never the less, if he can place the end of a severed limb to it's rightful place it will return to it's rightful place. Alternatively this can be accomplished by laying in a pool of his spilled blood. this process takes time, anywhere from one to two minutes depending on the amount of damage. If he is truly "slain" though he will remain conscious, still aware of his pain and loss. After the rise of the moon he rises again. His limbs return to him and all lost blood is pumped again After that he lives on.

Combat Monster:
Not activated or really intentional. Nassir enters a trance when he begin to swing his ax. Thoughts disappear and soon only the battle remains. he is an amazing fighter when his mind is off the fight but when he enters this trance he becomes a virtuoso of death. He moves at the perfect moments and strikes in the most deceptive manner. each blow is powerful and fast, unrelenting and fluid. While nowhere near unbeatable his dead eyed battle trance can make even the most hardened of warriors falter.

Weakness
In the end Nassir is just a man. Cut him and he will bleed. His peak human ability may be no match for greater beasts or smarter foes.

Fears His fear is to never have anyone call him friend or ally again.

Family He had a family once, and since. however they are all meaningless to him and all those he knew in his first century have died now.

Extra For a warrior and an undying of his caliber he has no scars. All of them heal. He has no warrior's marks.

As a MOD in training, i think this profile is approval worthy. ^_^ My only question or concern is whether 317 makes sense or matches the bio. He sounds more experienced and perhaps older than 317. Maybe he just 'gained wisdom' quickly. ^_^

Personality
To be a chosen of the Sun is to command the powers of that which gives all good things life. Thus, The Will of heaven demands to respected and adored as such. She is a kind and empathetic leader yet does not tolerate the disloyalty or disobedience of servants. She is slow to anger but once her ire is roused it is not quick to be quelled without the destruction what had angered her. She maintains an almost regal demeanor at all time, using courtesy as a shield and sword before violence ever needs to be undertaken.

Kayle was born to lead and she takes this very seriously. She is a matron to those who would stand against the darkness and is always quick to defend those whom the creatures of the night would hunt. This often endears her to the small folk and makes those in consort with evil to be wary of her. She is never dishonest and will not break an alliance or promise without first seeing powerful evidence of betrayal.


Bio
The birth of a child born with the blessing of the Sun was told many years ago. The child would be born to a monastic order devoted to goodness and the light of day. The child would be raised to embrace the powers of the sun and defend the people from the forces of darkness. The prophecy can about just as it had been set out. A orphaned child arrived at the monetary just as was foretold and inside lay the small and infantile form of Kayle.

Kayle was raised in a religious and highly structured environment. They taught her advanced mathematics, linguistics, manners, and leadership. She spent her life knowing that she was meant for greatness. This feeling was only punctuated by her intense and constant training in her innate magical arts. She was instructed on how to heal and destroy using the powers of the heavens above.

Her strength grew until she was strong enough to set out on her own to bring judgment to those who would stand against the power of the Sun. She traveled for ten long years destroying the beast of the night and living with those who would take her in, spreading the word of the Invincible Sun. Then she neared a new place. A place of terrible darkness. The hub of terror and evil. She would have her work cut out for her, and, she would need allies.



Traits
The Will of Heaven is very likable and generally polite woman. She is adept at making friends and allies. That aside she is more than capable of handling herself. She is a powerful magic user and has had some training in hand to hand combat.

Flaws
For all her powers of the Sun nothing stops her from being naive. She holds her self to a great oral standard and often expects other to have the same morals. This can lead to her being deceived. Also she not a master of hand to hand combat and could be outmatched by a veteran soldier easily, well, at least in her normal state.

Special Abilities
Normal State Abilities:

Passive: Increased Healing Rate: Not in the same sense that many other creatures can heal quickly as this requires Kayle to be bathing in direct sunlight to heal her wounds. However, if she does this her healing is very rapid. This can make facing her in the light of day a foolish mistake.

Passive: The Light of the Sun: The rays of the Sun shine through all things and reveal them for what they are. Illusions are only faded shadows to The Will of Heaven and are seen through easily. Also, no mist or smoke can ever impair her vision so long as there is a small bit of light shining through it.

Active: The Sun Is All: Kayle can use the power of the Sun to relocate herself. it was through this technique that she came to Aerosillia. She can move across dimensional barriers if she is right by them, or move to any location she has been before. A handy escape maneuver.

Active: Sun's Blessing: The Will of Heaven can heal even the most terrible of wounds and illness. By laying her hands on someone and calling out to the Sun above she can heal thier wounds or illness in a matter of moments. This does not grant her the power over death though. Those who are dead can not be returned to this plane by the Sun's light.

Active: Solar Rebuke: The Unconquered Sun does not hesitate to destroy creatures of darkness and openly lends it's power to the Will of Heaven. Kayle can send a focus beam of sunlight from her outstretched hand to burn her foes. the beam is the light of the Sun itself and can be very dangerous to those who possess a weakness to it. However, this beam is only a wounding thing to those who are not specifically weak against it's light.

Active: Aegis of Sol: Kayle can call up a shield of powerful Solar magic to veil her from incoming attacks. This power stops all magic in it's tracks but has no affect on those who would strike her with a weapon, unless they are prone to be slain by the sun. This ability is powerful and taxing on Kayle. She can only use again after a four post cool down.

Demi-God Ascension Powers:
By calling on the power of her patron deity Kayle can transcend her human form and assume that of a being much more powerful. She becomes wreathed in a halo of pure Sun light and her eyes gleam golden with the Sun's fury. This form can only be accessed at the peak of Kayle's distress. This form is achieved nearly automatically when her adrenaline is flowing. Either after being struck with a painful attack She can will herself into this for with serious focus and preparation. (Taking two posts of focus). This can only achieved once per fight and requires some rest and reflection after she returns to her normal state.

Passive: Withering Light; The Wreath of powerful sunlight is bright as the solar body itself and shines with it's power. This reduces those weak to the Sun's light to ashes in moments and makes those who are not more than mortal shield their eyes in pain as though they were gazing at the Sun itself.

Passive; Essence Resurgent: All of her previous abilities become more powerful in nature. Her Sun's Rebuke power now can slay those who are not weak to it's power, The Aegis of Sol now slows the strike of physical weapons reducing their damage. Lastly she may heal her allies from a range twenty feet.

Active: Lay Waste: Kayle can expand her Solar aura to a distance of twenty feet. This power lights the area with power and burns any exposed skin that it touches, as usual this attack would devastate the forces of darkness that fear the Sun's light.

Active: Hand of the Unconquered Sun: The Will of Heaven is not one to be trifled with! in a wave of her hand she can slice the air in front of her with a blade of the Sun's magic. This blade is not solid and pass through weapons and armor that are mundane in nature. This blade cuts only the flesh of her target and burns them as well. The technique is obvious as the blade are highly viable and shine brightly. Not only that, but, if the weapon, aromor, or shield used to block this blade is magical in nature it will be blocked as though the Solar blade was solid.

Solar Deity Ascension:
The power of the Sun can not be stopped! The Will of Heaven fully leaves her human body and becomes the avatar of the Unyielding Sun. She becomes clad in brilliant armor of shimmering gold decorated with brilliant white feathers. This transformation makes all of her other abilities even stronger, doubling all of their ranges and making those that harm more destructive, setting fire to objects struck by them. This form is her most powerful and she must be not only in her Demi-God form but also in the light of the Sun. She can not be inside and use this form. Also, she can only do this form once per Sunrise. Once this form has been entered it can not be ended until either she fells her foes, they slay her, or she uses her most powerful technique. Once the Solar Deity form has been undertaken she must see her battle to it's close. The only other way for her to return to her normal state is for the Sun to set.

Passive: Armor of the Solari: This armor is truly unbreakable. It guards kayle with the strength of the Unconquered Sun. While it does not protect every inch of her it does make landing a blow very difficult. Also, her gauntlets make powerful rending weapons as the finger tips are narrowed into spikes.

Passive: Globes of Sun: The Will of Heaven is granted the use of three hovering globes of pure Solar energy. Not only are they true sunlight but she may also send them out at her foes with her mind to strike them. Those struck by these globes are burned by the power of the Sun itself. When these globes strike a target they explode into a burst of Solar magic sending the target reeling backward and often aflame. This destroys the globe and it begin to reform, returning to it's normal state after six posts. While these are globes of pure Solar magic it is not the Sun itself and thustly does not increase her effectiveness in combat from direct sunlight.

Active: Unshakable Conquest of the Solari: The most deadly and terrifying technique in the arsenal of the Will of Heaven. It can only be performed outside and in the light of day. The Will of Heaven calls to the Sun to smite her foes and it listens. A blast of solar magic streaks down from the sky and strikes the ground the resulting explosion is powerful enough to level buildings and vaporize those struck by it directly. This power drains Kayle and she immediately returns to her normal state.


Weakness
Above are all of The Will of Heaven's abilities when she is using them in the hours of the day. While Kayle does not need to be in direct sunlight to gain the normal uses of her abilities the Sun only need to be up. While the glorious Sun is down though all of her abilities have slightly longer cool downs (each ability with a cool down has its duration extended by one) and her forms can not be maintained indefinitely. She can only maintain her alternate forms for eight posts. Also, in truth she is still truly mortal. If she is struck down she is dead. When her heart stops beating her life ends.

Personality
Science is a beautiful thing! It is as much art as a painting or sculpture, or at least to Segal it is. He thinks of himself as a visionary, a revolutionary, and most of all a genius. While the last part certainly true he has long since had his mind stolen by the pursuit of advancement. Laboratories filled with discarded test subjects ranging from plants and animals to the local orphans litter the place. Each set aside in their own perfectly organized mess. A thousand colors of fluids clutter the shelves each marked and labeled with a brilliant and flowing hand written tag. A place for everything, and everything in it's place. "Organization sets us apart from beast" Segal might say, or simply grab out by the throat and make you drink a thick orange potion. The line that separates mad scientist from great minds is a thin one, a line that Segal dances across like a drunk sailor. In normal life he is a mild and well spoken teacher, salesman, and explorer. In other, darker moments he is a mad man, doing anything in his power to make innovations to science. This mad pursuit of knowledge and advancement is what led him to what he is now, a horrid half-man devoid of what was once his own body. Though he would never allow such poor things to be said about it, after all, he is his own master-piece.

Bio
Intellect has always been a part of Segal's life. Even when he was a small he was always smarter than all the other children. he had a knack for science and an affluent family to give rise to his mind. His family was wealthy beyond most people wildest dreams. he had a first class education and enough support to do whatever he wanted. He was groomed to be a beautiful mind, and so he became it.

When he came of age a terrible, yet not exactly accidental, tragedy befell his family. A noxious poison was released into the dinner one terrible night and it laid waste to his family. With the inheritance in his name he could now finally be exactly what he wanted. He sold his families property and bought a massive stretch of land in the wilderness complete with an underground lab. It was in this place that he met his former wife and fathered his son, Xander.

He was no father to the boy. Caring only for his education and constantly trying to experiment on the boy. He gave him serum after serum trying to make him "better". In the end he drove him away. Though in the end Segal was successful. His boy was more than human by his departure. This motivated the Doctor. He set off. Away from the lab and his old life. He took on the life of an adventuring scientist. Selling his wares and research to those who you buy it and tackling the toughest environments around. Years passed as he gained more knowledge and became less of a man. Eventually he found doors to other world hidden in his plane. It was the final expedition. To transcend this world to the next! Just imagine what he might find!


Traits
Doctor Blythe is a master chemist. he has the experience and know how to brew up astonishing and wondrous concoctions of both mundane and magical affect. He has also made a serious living as an explorer and field scientist, giving him much practice in the field of survival and navigation. As if to only pile on to this list he has had to face numerous dangerous creatures in his travels and is a fair hand in a fight. Coupled with a genius level intellect there isn't much Doctor Blythe can't do.

Flaws
As many things as there are that Blythe can do there are many he can not. For one he can longer really feel emotions. He only imitates ghosts of what would be feelings. He can not empathize with anyone, for any reason. Not only that but he has no skill with any sort of long range weapon aside from awkwardly hurling bottles of strange liquid.

Special Abilities

Augmented Physique: Perhaps the most incredible and hideous success that the Doctor ever had was that of turning himself into a thing. He made numerous and painful modifications to his physiology that will be detailed here.

Flesh Replacement. The soft tissue and skin from everywhere on Segals body has been removed. It has been replaced by a synthetic skin-like substance that is volumes harder than human skin and holds in what lie beneath very well.

Alchemical Muscular Structure: The Doctor made himself a new set of muscles. ones not powered by blood and made of flesh but ones of metal cables and powered by alchemic pistons and bearings. These synthetic muscles give him strength beyond that of nearly any man and endurance to match it After all, he need not breath to power his muscles they are just wires and rods attached to an augmented skeleton.

Augmented Skeleton: His fibrous human skeleton has been stripped back a milometer or two to accommodate for some strong woven cables reinforcements. This helps Segal's skeleton support his metal muscular structure and provides excellent protection from those who would do him hard.

Chemical Circulatory System: Blood is a thing of the past. As is the heart and lungs! This has all been replaced by an alchemic pump that sends the poisonous and potent fluids and fuels to his brain and pistons. This system comes with two redundant pumps one in his right leg and the other in his lower abdomen that can take over should the primary pump in his chest cavity be damaged.

All of this is held together by a slathering of magical adhesive and wrapped up tight with chemically soaked cloth wraps that make him look more or less like a mummy. Every inch of his body up to his neck is covered by these wrappings. Not only do they keep him tight and running properly they also give a minor form of protection from the elements as they are soaked in a fire retardant and antifreeze chemicals.

Equipment:

Alchemical Armor: A suit of materials specially formed and transmutated to make a light and strong suit of protective armor. the places cover his shoulders, upper thighs, lower abdomen, and lower neck. Coupled with a strong tower shield laced with spikes and a harness full of potions Doctor Segal is prepared for a fight.

Potions:
Hydra's Bite: a poison distilled from the glads of terrible jungle serpent. Once Segal had determined what made up this serpents venom it was a simple task to reproduce it. this poison is reddish on color and very light, often looking like a mist if allowed into the air. This poison is deadly to anything with a circulatory system and if it enters either the blood stream or the air way it can cause serious injury and death. If someone is afflicted with this poison it takes only a few moments before they are coughing and weak, soon after a cardiac event takes their life.

Spitfire: Named for the combustible nature of this combination chemical and catalyst. Mixed quickly and thrown, this mixture will violently combust once it touches oxygen erupting into a shower of fire and flashing lights.

Affection Potion: Segal refuses to call anything a love potion. It is a fact that affection is simple caused by chemicals in the brain. This potion does just that. It fills the imbiber with a sense of "love" due to an over abundance of those exact chemicals. They don't however have a target for this love and often just become a nuisance.

Smoke Bomb; This is simple. Two chemicals that when exposed to oxygen combust rapidly and cause a cloud of thick and foul smelling smoke. Simple and effective.

Bulwark Adhesive: A strange powder that when combined with a small bit of water and shook up begins to expand and stick to everything around it. The adhesive is a typical think and off-white color and has incredible strength. It is this very substance that binds Segal together.

Grey Acid: In his travels Doctor Segal stumbled across a potent and toxic plant that possessed a highly corrosive sap. Much like the Hyrda Venom. Once he had identified the chemical makeup of the acid he could make it. This thin and watery greyish fluid is not only a substances more corrosive than hydrocloric acid but also an amazing fuel source for hydrolic power. In fact, this is the very "blood" that runs through his veins.

Night Dust: A very potent neuro-toxin that takes the form of dark purple and blue dust. Ground up from the stems of numerous toxic herbs this powder can cause unconsciousness in nearly anything that breathes it in and has a brain. The effects of long term exposure are very dangerous resulting in mental illness.

Restorative Draught: This is what the laymens would call a "health potion". It is a concentrated draght of restorative and numbing agents. When consumed this potion immediately begin to repair damaged tissue, turning what could be a week long hospital stay into a simple day of bed rest. Not only that but the potion has a strange affect on people, causing them to be in a sort of waking dream. Often people lose hours of time when this potion is used to heal them. However, it's affects can't be argued with.

Boar blood: A rather poor name, but, still appropriate. This potion causes a massive release of testosterone and adrenaline in the subjects brain. This has been known to cause heart .attacks in weak patients but the combat affect it has is great. Causes increases in strength, speed, and aggression. Everything you want in an all out fight.

All of these potions are available for sale and can be brewed in a short period of time. However, the Doctor never carries more than ten of these vials with him at any time. Any more and he would just be asking for trouble. The only exception would be if he was in his home or intentionally drug out a pack with more of them.
